The Pilates method is a system of stretching and strength exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. Strengthens and tones the muscles, improves the posture, gives flexibility and balance and makes the figure slimmer. The method considers the body as a whole. It does not isolate muscles and does not only work on a particular area of fitness. The Pilates method resembles yoga.
