Tabata

The Tabata method is a high-intensity training mode. By its very nature it is infinitely simple and consists of the following:

  • Most intense activity for 20 seconds;
  • Rest of 10 seconds;
  • Repeat a total of 8 times.

The 4- minute Tabata leads to great increase in the aerobic and anaerobic capacity of the trainees and burn much more calories and fat than an hour of low and medium intensity cardio activity such as running, biking, etc.

Tabata is a very intense method and it is good for beginners not to start with it before they are physically strengthened.
